When we launched ZAYNA, we didn’t start with a long list of products. We started with one, something simple, natural, and close to our hearts.

In Morocco, Argan Oil is more than a beauty secret. It’s been part of everyday life for generations. It’s used in the kitchen, drizzled over warm bread and honey. It’s applied to the skin after a long day in the sun. It’s massaged into the hair before brushing, and into hands when they’ve dried from life. It’s one of Morocco’s true treasures, loved for its purity, versatility, and healthy benefits.
As a Moroccan woman, I grew up seeing how powerful this ingredient is. It’s familiar. It’s trusted. It’s real. And I wanted to bring it out into the world in its most pure form, without changing it, without adding anything, just honoring it. The idea for ZAYNA began with this oil. Before the brand, there was Argan.
We didn’t invent Argan Oil. It’s been here for centuries. But we didn’t want to create just another product either.
We wanted to create something meaningful. Something that brings value. Something that feels honest, that brings people closer to nature, and maybe even closer to themselves.
While our inspiration begins in Morocco, our journey continues in Switzerland, It’s where we live, and a place that reflects our values of quality, simplicity, and care. Both places are part of who we are. And together, they’ve shaped what we’re creating.

Choosing a name for this brand wasn’t just about sound, it was about meaning. We wanted something that carried the essence of what we believe in. That’s why we chose the name ZAYNA, a word that means beautiful in Arabic. it’s not about surface or trends.
It’s the kind of beauty that’s quiet. Thoughtful. The beauty of traditions passed down. Of natural textures. Of taking care, slowly and simply.
It’s the beauty of what’s real, not perfected. And that’s the heart of everything we create.
